Punk Voyage is continuing to conquer Scandinavia!

Just in time for World Down Syndrome Day March 21, a global awareness day highlighting the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down Syndrome, we want to offer you some more opportunities to see the awesome Punk Voyage doc!

The film about Finlands most beloved punk band in which all members have some kind of mental disability, was launched in Sweden through Doc Lounge earlier this year and tomorrow it's time for the Swedish Television Broadcast! It will also be avaliable on SVT Play until May 19.

The film is still avaliable for booking of community- or special screenings in Sweden. Read more on our booking page.

On Friday the film had it's international premiere in Copenhagen at CPH:DOX with the director and all of the band members present. There is still a couple of screenings left at the festival, so if you're in Copenhagen, don't miss out!

Norway will also get your share as Punk Voyage will be shown at our Norweigan Doc Lounge clubs during April. Make sure to have a look at the film's page at our website.

Finally we'd like to congratulate the film on winning  the main prize in the "over 30 minute"- category in the National competition at Tampere Film Festival. The jury described the film as an “expertly crafted documentary that feels at times more like a work of fiction.“

May the punk voyage continue on forever!
