Jam packed and emotional when Doc Lounge and Aktarr presented Oscars nominated "The Cave"
It was a jam packed and emotional night at Doc Lounge Malmö last night, when the Oscar nominated documentary film “The Cave” was screened in partnership with AKTARR, the biggest and fastest growing media plattforms for arabic speaking in Sweden.
After the film there was an eminent panel (Ihsan Adel, PhD International Development and International Law & Zenia Y. Henriksen, PhD Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies of Copenhagen University) discussing justice, international law, war crimes, documenting the history of the revolution and the narrative of the Syrian crisis, moderated by the journalist and editor at AKTARR; Ahmad Abu Hamad.
Due to Oscars preparations the director Feras Fayyad and the star av the film Dr. Amani Balour could not attend as it was planned. We wish them all good luck in the world at the Oscars gala on the 9th of February!!
