Free China

Oplæg og Q&A med talsmand for Falun Gong i DK, Benny Brix.

Menneskerettighedskrænkelser og to menneskers kamp for retfærdighed.

IN ENGLISH

Free China is an award-winning documentary about two people’s fight for justice, as well as their struggle for mere survival.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of peaceful Chinese citizens are subject to systematic torture and are forced to work as slaves because they refuse to follow the Communist Party of China’s list of demands - such as the demand that they must give up their tranquil spiritual practice of Falun Gong.

The film provides a rare glimpse into the China that lies beneath the surface, including the regime’s violations of human rights, arbitrary arrests, production of cheap export goods for Westeners, prisoners of conscience bound by brutal conditions, not to mention the organ harvesting of some of these prisoners.

The film also depicts the escalating internet war between censorship and anti-censorship, which has come to light as more and more Chinese people are opening their eyes to the reality that is their present-day existence.

Moreover, we are fortunate enough to have Benny Brix, spokesman for Falun Gong in Denmark, present at the screening. He will both briefly present the film before the screening, as well as be available for Q&A after.

Do not miss the opportunity to gain insight into one of the most powerful and influential countries in the world!
